2nd Battalion The Queens Regiment
( Queens Own Buffs )

Formed 31st December 1966 the Queens Regiment was England's senior infantry regiment of the line. The history of the Regiment and it's forebears is long and full of heroism and the Regiment has the honour of holding the oldest battle honour in the British Army, that of Tangier 1662-1680.

Although no longer in existence the Regiment was like a family for those of us who served with it and hopefully any ex members that make it here will find something of interest to them. I have included a message board for those trying to get in touch with old comrades they have lost contact with, as well as a photo gallery that might bring back a few old memories.

Anyone with any comments or suggestions please send me an
email and let me know what you think. This site is still a work in progress and I will try to update it when I can. So add it to your favorites and come back soon.
