Quick March The Regimental Quick March of The Queen's Regiment is Soldiers of the Queen, composed by Leslie Stuart in 1895. Although this has always been a popular tune it had never been adopted as a Regimental Quick March before the formation of The Queen's Regiment. Soldiers of the Queen is normally played last on all Regimental occasions, such as Officers', Warrant Officers' and Sergeants' Mess Guest Nights, Cocktail Parties, Beating Retreat etc. Slow March The Caledonian was
inherited from The Middlesex Regiment. It was previously the march of
the 57th and had been brought to them by an Argyll Highlander, General
John Campbell of Strachur during his time as Colonel of the Regiment
from 1780 to 1806. The music files are in
